Job summary

Paycom - ATS is seeking a Shift Lead for our Kent, OH location. The role focuses on managing a shift, ensuring drink quality, and maintaining excellent customer interactions. You will lead a team, train staff, and uphold the company values during busy service periods.

The Shift Lead will need strong leadership, reliability, and the ability to work flexible hours, including mornings, nights, and weekends. Prior supervisory experience is preferred and hygiene and safety standards must be upheld.

Qualifications

• Ability to work a flexible schedule including early mornings and late nights.
• Follow procedures for submitting time-off requests.
• Regularly work weekends and holidays if needed.
• Create genuine uplifting interactions with customers.
• Previous management or leadership experience preferred.
• Work carefully and quickly with hot water, coffee, and dairy products.

Responsibilities

• Converse with customers to confirm drink orders and enter them into the POS system.
• Know all recipes and secret menu items; uphold drink quality and speed.
• Oversee shift operations, energy, and product/service standards in the absence of managers.
• Communicate relevant developments to stand management; assist training of team members.
• Ensure accurate payments and correct change handling during service.
• Maintain personal hygiene and dress appropriate for the role and shift.
