Job summary

O’Reilly Auto Parts in Illinois is seeking a Retail Service Specialist to support the Store Manager and Assistant Managers in sales, customer service, store appearance, and operations. The role includes shift management in the manager's absence and bilingual candidates are encouraged to apply.

Essential duties include leading the team, managing customer service in the showroom, processing orders and transfers, and ensuring accurate invoicing and returns.

Qualifications

• Strong communication skills.
• Ability to obtain RSS Certification.
• Fluency in multiple languages (Spanish is highly desired).
• ASE Certification is desirable but not required.

Responsibilities

• Lead store team members in providing excellent customer service to retail and professional customers.
• Supervise the customer service levels on the retail showroom and related programs.
• Ensure all orders and transfers are processed in a timely manner and customers are contacted upon shipment arrivals.
• Handle returns and exchanges efficiently and accurately.
• Perform store opening/closing duties and secure money and deposits according to policy.
