Job summary

O’Reilly Auto Parts is seeking a Retail Service Specialist to support Store Managers in sales, customer service, store appearance, and operations. This role may assume shift management in the absence of store leadership.

Bilingual candidates are encouraged to apply. Responsibilities include leading a store team, supervising showroom customer service programs, handling transfers, processing orders promptly, and ensuring accurate invoicing and returns.

Qualifications

• Strong communication skills.
• Ability to obtain RSS Certification.
• Desired: Retail sales experience in auto parts.
• Automotive systems knowledge.
• ASE Certification.
• Fluency in multiple languages (Spanish is highly desired).

Responsibilities

• Lead store team members in providing excellent customer service to retail and professional customers.
• Supervise the customer service levels on the retail showroom including program execution (Related sales, Hi5, Rock the Call, Never Say No, Rock the Lot, etc.).
• Ensure telephone is answered according to company policy.
• Process buy online/ship to store, hub and store to store transfers, and DC add orders promptly and contact customers on shipment arrivals.
• Handle special orders and outside purchases efficiently per procedure.
• Ensure returns and exchanges are processed friendly and refunds issued correctly.
• Ensure merchandise is invoiced before leaving the store (including core charges and warranties).
• Communicate Zipline messages and delegate Image Maker and merchandising tasks.
• Monitor adherence to posted work schedule and proper clocking-in/out.
• Perform opening/closing duties including day-end procedures, money handling, deposits, and security checks.
• All other duties as assigned.
