Job summary

O’Reilly Auto Parts is seeking a Retail Service Specialist to support the Store Manager and Assistants in sales, customer service, store appearance, and operations. This role may assume shift management in the absence of leadership and bilingual candidates are encouraged to apply.

Responsibilities include leading customer service, supervising showroom programs, processing store transfers, handling special orders, and ensuring accurate invoicing and deposits.

Qualifications

• Strong communication skills.
• Ability to obtain RSS Certification.
• Desirable: retail sales experience, automotive systems and repair knowledge, ASE Certification, Spanish language ability.

Responsibilities

• Lead store team members in providing excellent customer service to retail and professional customers.
• Supervise the customer service levels on the retail showroom and ensure execution of service programs.
• Ensure telephone is answered according to company policy.
• Process buy online/ship to store, hub and store-to-store transfers and notify customers on shipments.
• Handle special orders and outside purchases per procedure using the outside purchase ledger.
• Process returns and exchanges, issue refunds correctly, and stage returned merchandise.
• Invoice all merchandise, including core charges and warranties, before product leaves the store.
• Communicate Zipline messages and delegate Image Maker and merchandising tasks as assigned.
• Ensure clock-in/out per policy and adherence to posted work schedules.
• Perform opening/closing duties, day-end procedures, deposits, and security checks including alarms and vehicles.
• All other duties as assigned.
