Job summary

Five Guys in Las Cruces, NM seeks a Shift Leader to guide daily operations, set the tone, and ensure guest satisfaction. You’ll work side-by-side with your team, lead by example, and manage breaks and opening/closing tasks.

This role offers hands-on leadership, growth opportunities, and the chance to advance into higher management as you train new crew and maintain brand standards.

Qualifications

• 1–2 years of restaurant, retail, or hospitality experience (leadership preferred).
• Strong communication and team-first mindset.
• Leads by doing and stays calm in fast-paced environments.
• Basic math and POS familiarity.

Responsibilities

• Lead the shift and run operations when management isn’t on site.
• Fill in as cashier, grill, prep, fries, and dining room.
• Deliver fast, accurate service and create a great guest experience.
• Coach, support, and motivate crew members to perform at their best.
• Help train new team members and build a strong, positive culture.
• Keep the restaurant clean, safe, and up to brand standards.
• Manage shift tasks like breaks, cash handling, and closing reports.
