Job summary

Five Guys is seeking a Shift Leader to be a hands-on, front-line leader who sets the tone each shift. You’ll work side-by-side with the team, lead by example, and ensure every guest leaves satisfied.

Ideal candidates have 1–2 years in hospitality, strong communication, and the ability to stay cool under pressure while guiding operations and maintaining quality.

Qualifications

• 1–2 years of restaurant, retail, or hospitality experience; leadership preferred.
• Strong team-player mindset with clear communication.
• Able to stay composed and make quick decisions in a fast-paced setting.

Responsibilities

• Lead the shift and run operations when management isn’t on site.
• Fill in across cashier, grill, prep, fries, and dining room as needed.
• Deliver fast, accurate service and ensure guests have a great experience.
• Coach, support, and motivate crew to perform their best.
• Help train new teammates and foster a positive culture.
• Maintain cleanliness, safety, and brand standards.
• Manage shift tasks like breaks, cash handling, and closing reports.
