Job summary

MOD Pizza is hiring a Shift Supervisor in Charlotte, NC. You will lead the restaurant during shifts, train new hires, and ensure operations meet MOD standards. You’ll manage guest experiences, deploy staff, and drive quality and service with a focus on teamwork and safety.

You will work to maintain smooth operations, support management, and model MOD’s values. Expect dynamic hours and opportunities to grow as a leader within the team.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 1 year of customer service or restaurant experience.
• Proven ability to mentor, train or lead informally.
• Ability to prioritize and make decisions.
• Must be 18 years or older.
• Ability to enforce processes with coaching in a compassionate manner.
• Calm under high volume pressure.
• Food safety and/or alcohol certification within 30 days where required by law.
• Strong written and spoken communication skills.
• Able to work at least 18 hours per week across a minimum of 3 shifts.

Responsibilities

• Lead restaurant operations during scheduled shifts.
• Train new hires and support program rollouts.
• Ensure equipment and systems are maintained to meet goals.
• Ensure food safety standards across FOH and BOH.
• Manage cash within the shift accurately.
• Take inventory and place orders with GM support.
• Follow opening/midday/closing checklists and use tools to execute tasks.
• Communicate information from Slice to squad members.
