Job summary

MOD Pizza is seeking a Shift Supervisor to lead restaurant operations during scheduled shifts, train new hires, and ensure top-notch guest experiences. You will model MOD’s values, oversee deployment of staff, and drive program rollouts while maintaining smooth daily operations.

You will guide the squad to deliver the MOD experience, manage shift tasks, and support leadership with feedback and guidance. Candidates should be ready to work at least 3 shifts weekly and participate in ongoing

Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year of customer service or restaurant experience.
• Experience mentoring, training, or leading others.
• Ability to prioritize and make decisions.
• Must be at least 18 years old.
• Food safety certification and/or alcohol beverage certification within 30 days of start date.
• Strong written and verbal communication.
• Able to work a minimum of 3 shifts and 18 hours per week, including peak hours.

Responsibilities

• Lead shift and ensure restaurant operations run smoothly, providing an outstanding guest experience.
• Train newly hired/promoted squad and support new program rollouts.
• Maintain restaurant systems and equipment, including online ordering and reviews.
• Ensure food safety standards are followed in back and front of house.
• Resolve squad member and guest concerns; escalate when needed.
• Manage cash within the shift; handle refunds and cash in safe.
• Take inventory and place orders as directed by the GM.
• Follow shift checklists and use tools to meet requirements on time.
• Stay updated via Slice emails to keep squad effective on shift.
