Job summary

MOD Pizza is seeking a Shift Supervisor in Washington to lead restaurant operations during scheduled shifts and support training for new hires. You will model MOD’s values, guide the squad, and ensure guest experiences meet standards while maintaining smooth daily operations.

You’ll develop leadership skills, mentor teammates, and adapt to changing needs, delivering the best MOD experience on every shift while coordinating with management and ensuring compliance with food safety practices.

Qualifications

• Must have a minimum of one (1) year of customer service or restaurant experience.
• Must have demonstrated success as a mentor, trainer or informal leader.
• Have a proven ability to prioritize and make decisions.
• You must obtain a food safety certification and/or alcohol beverage certification within 30 days of your start date.
• You should be proficient in written and oral communication.
• Have the ability to support restaurant hours working a minimum of 3 shifts and 18 hours per week.

Responsibilities

• Lead the shift by doing the following key tasks: ensure the right squad member is in the right place and deploys appropriately.
• Train newly hired/promoted squad and support the team through program rollouts and initiatives.
• Ensure operating systems and equipment are maintained to meet restaurant goals.
• Use MOD tools and standards to ensure food safety in Back of House and Front of House.
• Listen, acknowledge, and resolve squad member and guest concerns; escalate when needed.
• Manage cash within the shift accurately and responsibly.
• Take inventory and place orders as needed with GM support.
• Adhere to opening/midday/closing checklists and utilize tools to meet requirements.
• Stay updated via email on information from the Slice and other sources for squad effectiveness.
