Job summary

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent; associate's degree preferred.
• 1-3 years experience in a shelter or related human services setting preferred.
• Experience conducting client intakes and maintaining confidential records.
• Knowledge of trauma-informed care and crisis response procedures.
• HMIS/case management software experience a plus.

Responsibilities

• Provide a safe, secure environment and respond to emergencies as needed.
• Conduct client intake and eligibility assessments for services.
• Record data in HMIS and maintain daily logs and forms.
• Prepare and serve meals as program dictates.
• Monitor facility perimeter in coordination with security to ensure safety.
• Attend staff meetings and participate in program coordination.
• De-escalate conflicts and enforce program policies and procedures.
