Job summary

Northern Trust is seeking an experienced ServiceNow Platform Architect focused on security to define and govern the enterprise ServiceNow security architecture, standards, and governance.

The role collaborates with Identity Management, Cybersecurity, Risk, Enterprise Architecture, and Platform Engineering to ensure secure, compliant, and scalable ServiceNow solutions for complex business needs.

Qualifications

• 15+ years in platform architecture with security leadership.
• Expertise in IAM, SSO, MFA, RBAC.
• Strong governance and risk/compliance experience.
• Experience with ServiceNow security patterns.

Responsibilities

• Define and maintain ServiceNow platform security architecture and governance.
• Establish access control, configurations, integrations, and customizations.
• Assess security for new capabilities, plugins, and releases.
• Oversee Identity, Authentication, and Access Management standards.
• Drive least privilege and periodic access reviews.
• Secure REST/SOAP APIs, OAuth, SAML, LDAP integrations.
• Platform hardening, vulnerability remediation, and auditability.
• Support audits and regulatory compliance.
• Coordinate with Cybersecurity, Risk, EA, and platform teams.
