Job summary

Trustmark National Bank seeks a Senior ServiceNow Developer to lead design, development, and optimization of the ServiceNow platform, delivering scalable, secure, and compliant solutions for enterprise IT and business operations.

The role combines hands-on development with technical leadership, focusing on platform stability, data integrity, and adherence to regulatory requirements, with mentoring responsibilities and oversight of providers and internal staff.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience in a relevant field.
5+ years progressive ServiceNow development and administration experience.
Strong experience with ITSM, CMDB, ITOM, and Asset Management modules.
Advanced proficiency in JavaScript, Glide APIs, and ServiceNow scripting.
Experience building integrations using REST/SOAP and Integration Hub.
Ability to lead technical initiatives and coordinate internal/external resources.
CSA/CAD/CIS certifications preferred; regulated environments experience a plus.
Background in infrastructure, cybersecurity, or enterprise IT operations.

Responsibilities

Lead development, configuration, and support of the ServiceNow platform across core modules.
Design scalable solutions with custom apps, workflows, and integrations.
Ensure performance, availability, and scalability with proactive monitoring.
Maintain data quality in CMDB and Asset Management with governance.
Collaborate with stakeholders to define requirements and technical solutions.
Provide technical oversight and code reviews for internal/externals partners.
Establish and enforce SDLC-aligned development and deployment practices.
Lead platform upgrades, patches, and release management activities.
Develop and maintain REST/SOAP integrations and external system connections.
Analyze performance metrics to support reporting and audit readiness.
Mentor junior developers and assist with risk/compliance activities.
Perform additional duties as assigned.
