Job summary

VIP Auto Service Center in Calais, ME seeks a Service Writer to educate customers on vehicle conditions, coordinate service, and ensure a superior customer experience. You will liaise with technicians and front desk staff to communicate findings and authorize needed work.

Qualifications

• Current, valid driver’s license in residents state
• Equipment safety certification
• ASE Certification C1 - Service Consultant required
• ASE Certification P2 - Parts Specialist recommended
• ASE Certification G1 - Maintenance and light repair recommended
• State Inspection License required (where applicable)

Responsibilities

• Ensure safety policies are followed and training completed
• Consult with customers to educate them about vehicle condition per MPI
• Aim for high SAX scores in customer engagement
• Learn VIP processes and perform duties as assigned by the Service Manager
• Maintain facility and equipment to keep area clean and ready
• Communicate with management to ensure compliance with standards
