Job summary

Colonial Group is seeking a Service Writer to support the Service Manager in delivering an exceptional customer experience and high-performance results. You will work with the team to explain vehicle conditions based on MPI results, educate customers on VIP processes, and ensure safety and efficiency across daily operations.

The role requires automotive knowledge, good communication, and a commitment to ongoing training including LMS and vendor courses.

Qualifications

One year of related experience in automotive service field.
Two-year college or technical school program recommended.
Current, valid driver’s license issued in state of residence.
ASE Certification C1- Service Consultant required; P2 and G1 recommended; State Inspection License where applicable.

Responsibilities

Consult with customers to educate them about vehicle condition per MPI results and VIP processes.
Ensure safety policies are followed and the service area remains clean and organized.
Support Service Manager and team to achieve SAX targets and customer experience.
Participate in LMS and vendor trainings to stay compliant with VIP standards.
Communicate effectively during daily huddles and store meetings.
