Job summary

VIP is seeking a Service Writer to support the Service Manager in delivering a superior customer experience. The role focuses on communicating vehicle conditions to customers based on MPI inspections and maintaining VIP standards across the service desk and shop.

The successful candidate will pursue LMS and vendor training, achieve essential certifications, and contribute to a clean, safe, and compliant service environment while engaging customers to drive loyalty and growth.

Qualifications

Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Strong organization and time management abilities.
Understand automotive servicing and the industry.
One year of related automotive service experience.
Two-year college or technical school recommended, or equivalent experience.

Responsibilities

Consult with customers and educate them about vehicle conditions based on MPI inspection results.
Aim for above-average customer engagement as measured by SAX score.
Follow VIP processes and execute assigned duties with the Service Manager.
Complete LMS training and vendor training; obtain BATS TPMS and ASE certifications as needed.
Maintain facility, equipment, and cleanliness; ensure safety and compliance.
