Job summary

VIP is seeking a Service Writer to support the service team by educating customers on vehicle conditions based on MPI inspections and VIP processes. You will build strong customer relationships, communicate clearly, and help deliver an exceptional service experience.

This non-exempt, hourly role emphasizes safety, teamwork, and ongoing training through LMS and vendor programs. Standard schedule is five days per week with a 40-hour work week, supporting a busy service department.

Qualifications

• One year of related experience in automotive service field.
• Completion of two-year college or technical school program recommended.
• Or an equivalent combination of education and experience.

Responsibilities

• Consult with customers to educate them on vehicle conditions based on MPI inspection.
• Build relationships with customers and educate them about VIP processes.
• Assist in achieving VIP SAX scores through effective customer engagement.
• Follow LMS and vendor training with a focus on safety and quality.
• Coordinate with service team to assign work to technicians efficiently.
