Birge & Held is seeking a Service Technician II in Indianapolis, IN to maintain the community's physical assets and deliver a high-quality resident experience. You will report to the Operations Manager and collaborate with a maintenance team to complete service requests efficiently.

Responsibilities include performing HVAC, electrical, and plumbing repairs, inspecting common areas, and ensuring unit turnovers within five days. A valid driver’s license and OSHA awareness are required.

Qualifikationen

• Minimum of two years of apartment maintenance experience.
• EPA refrigerant handling certification required, HVAC certification preferred.
• A valid driver's license and reliable transportation required.

Aufgaben

• Ensure compliance with policies, procedures and laws including Fair Housing, ADA, FCRA.
• Maintain professional demeanor with residents, team members and vendors.
• Inspect buildings and common areas for cleanliness, safety and visual appeal.
• Perform repairs on HVAC units, mechanical and electrical equipment, plumbing fixtures and grounds.
• Repair serviceable items across Birge & Held communities.
• Ensure unit turnovers are completed within five working days unless directed otherwise.
