Job summary

Siemens is seeking a Service Sales/Senior Sales Executive in the Plymouth, MI area to grow the service agreements business for Smart Buildings Automation. You will be the trusted advisor for customers, developing plans, forecasting orders, and driving opportunities with cross-functional teams.

The role includes 50% customer-facing time, 10% travel, and 1–2 days weekly in the office. Entry or mid-level candidates may apply, with compensation ranging based on experience and location.

Qualifications

• Sales experience or customer-facing role within the commercial building automation industry or related construction
• 3+ years of sales, account management, or business development in building automation or related construction
• Ability to estimate and sell technical solutions and services independently
• Verbal and written communication skills in English
• Organizational, presentation, and negotiation skills

Responsibilities

• Achieve new order and profit goals based on your assigned quota for service projects and service agreements
• Develop and maintain a qualified funnel of opportunities including forecasting expected order intake
• Develop a comprehensive understanding of the marketplace, competitor offerings, customers, and decision influencers across the region
• Develop a vertical market and account management plan focusing on strategic growth
• Identify new business opportunities and develop go-to-market strategies to drive business
• Collaborate with operations, finance, legal and other resources to obtain the sale
• Spend minimum 50% of time in customer facing activities and 1–2 days in office
• Travel overnight ~10% for training and business development as required
