Job summary

Siemens seeks a Solutions Sales Executive to drive new construction business within Smart Buildings Automation. You will develop contractor, consultant, developer, and end-user relationships, capitalize on opportunities, and manage sophisticated deals within guidelines.

You will spend ~50% of time face-to-face with customers and travel ~10% for training and business development, leveraging Siemens’ digital service delivery as a differentiator.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Sales experience in building automation or related field.
• Ability to estimate and sell technical solutions and services.
• Strong account development and strategic sales skills.
• Excellent organizational, presentation, and negotiation abilities.
• Verbal and written English communication skills.
• Valid driver's license and eligible to work in the US.

Responsibilities

• Achieve new order/booking and profit goals based on assigned quota.
• Develop and maintain a qualified funnel of opportunities with forecasted results.
• Understand the market, competitors, customers, and decision influencers across the region.
• Develop go-to-market plans to grow in new markets or adjacent segments.
• Act as a consultant to multiple levels of the customer’s organization.
