Job summary

Rivian is seeking a Service Production Supervisor in Southern California to act as the in-shop quarterback, coaching technicians and directing daily production rhythms. You will ensure availability of parts, tools, and information while maintaining Rivian’s high standards of service and safety.

You will mentor staff, monitor KPIs, and collaborate across DMO/VO/Sales to keep vehicles moving from intake to final quality check.

Qualifications

5+ years of leadership in a high-volume automotive service environment.
High School Diploma, GED or equivalent preferred.
Deep technical knowledge across modern vehicle systems including high-voltage, electrical, mechanical, and infotainment domains.
Experience with lean manufacturing principles or workflow optimization in a service or production setting.
Proficient with digital tools, including DMS, repair order tracking, and diagnostic software.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

Responsibilities

Lead and develop a team of technicians, fostering a high-performance culture built on collaboration and continuous learning.
Oversee service workflows and technician development, ensuring accountability across shifts and departments.
Own the daily production rhythm of the shop, maximizing throughput and efficiency.
Coordinate with Parts, Service Advisors, and other teams to eliminate bottlenecks.
Uphold safety and organization in a world-class workshop environment.
