Job summary

Rivian is seeking a Service Production Supervisor to lead a high-volume automotive service team and orchestrate the shop’s daily production rhythm. You’ll coach technicians, manage performance, and ensure parts, tools, and information are readily available to minimize downtime and keep owners on the road.

You will coordinate across departments, drive Lean processes, and uphold Rivian’s standards of safety and service excellence in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of leadership experience in a high-volume automotive service environment.
• High School Diploma, GED, or equivalent preferred.
• Deep technical acumen across modern vehicle systems including high-voltage, electrical, mechanical, and infotainment domains.
• Proven experience with lean manufacturing principles or workflow optimization in a service or production setting.
• Strong proficiency with digital tools, including dealership management systems, repair order tracking, and diagnostic software.

Responsibilities

• Mentor, coach, and develop a team of technicians to foster a high-performance culture built on collaboration and learning.
• Actively manage performance, provide feedback, and conduct reviews to optimize team effectiveness.
• Oversee service workflows and ensure seamless, efficient operations across shifts and departments.
• Coordinate with Parts, Service Advisors, and support teams to remove bottlenecks and maintain throughput.
• Uphold safety, quality, and a world-class workshop environment while advocating for the customer.
