Job summary

Rivian is seeking a Service Production Supervisor in California to lead the service center, directing vehicle flow and providing coaching to technicians for excellence. You will drive production rhythms, balance workloads by technician skills, and ensure resources are available to keep customers on the road.

You will monitor quality, safety, and throughput, collaborating across parts, advisors, and support teams to remove bottlenecks and deliver a world‑class service experience.

Qualifications

• Leadership experience in a high‑volume automotive service environment.
• High School Diploma, GED, or equivalent preferred.
• Deep technical acumen across modern vehicle systems including high‑voltage, electrical, mechanical, and infotainment domains.
• Proven experience with lean manufacturing principles or workflow optimization in a service or production setting.
• Strong proficiency with digital tools, including dealership management systems (DMS), repair order tracking, and diagnostic software.

Responsibilities

• Lead & develop your team by mentoring technicians and driving a high‑performance culture.
• Actively manage performance, provide feedback and conduct reviews to grow skills.
• Champion Rivian culture through inclusivity and empowerment.
• Identify talent, create development paths and provide hands‑on training.
• Oversee service workflows and technician development, ensuring accountability and excellence.
• Coordinate with Parts, Service Advisors, and support teams to eliminate bottlenecks.
• Monitor KPIs and ensure safety, organization, and quality standards.
