Job summary

Forklifts Group in Orange, California is seeking a Service Writer to act as a critical link between service, parts, and customers. You will prepare quotes, schedule repairs, and ensure accurate communication of estimates and maintenance recommendations to internal and external customers.

The position requires strong communication, organizational skills, and proficiency with Microsoft Office, with 1–3 years in a customer-facing environment. Local travel and after-hours work may be required.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED required; vocational/technical cert preferred.
• 1–3 years in a customer-facing role with quotes or estimates.
• Experience in materials handling or service/repair environments is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Process quotes from initial request to final invoice with accuracy.
• Determine labor and parts requirements for quotes and schedule repairs.
• Coordinate with service, parts, and customers; maintain quote logs and documentation.
• Support dispatch and after-hours operations as needed.
