Job summary

Birge & Held is seeking a Service Manager to oversee day-to-day maintenance at our Avon, IN properties. You will lead on-site teams, manage preventive maintenance, and ensure safety and high-quality service across assets.

The ideal candidate will have 3–5 years in apartment maintenance, HVAC certification, and EPA refrigerant handling certification, plus a valid driver’s license to support multi-site operations.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 3–5 years of apartment maintenance experience.
• HVAC certification is required.
• EPA certification for refrigerant handling or willingness to obtain it.

Responsibilities

• Oversee day-to-day maintenance of assigned asset.
• Lead on-site maintenance teams and ensure safety and quality standards.
• Develop preventive maintenance programs and manage work orders.
