Birge & Held Group LLC is seeking a Service Manager to oversee daily maintenance across the portfolio, lead on-site maintenance teams, and optimize preventive maintenance programs. The role requires strong technical skills and proactive leadership to ensure assets are maintained to high standards.

The ideal candidate will have 3–5 years in apartment maintenance, 3–5 years in HVAC, EPA/HVAC certifications, and a valid driver's license.

Qualifications

• 3–5 years of apartment maintenance experience.
• HVAC certification required; EPA certification preferred.
• OSHA knowledge and safety compliance are expected.
• Must have valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.

Responsabilités

• Provide hands-on leadership to on-site maintenance teams and ensure high-quality service.
• Develop and implement preventive maintenance programs and manage asset life cycle.
• Coordinate capital improvement and renovation projects with Operations Managers.
• Ensure compliance with OSHA, safety standards, and company policies.
• Manage vendors and on-site contractors for HVAC, plumbing, and general maintenance.
