Murphy-Hoffman Company, LLC is seeking a Service Manager at the MHC Kenworth-Rocky Mount branch in Battleboro, NC. The role oversees the day-to-day operations of the branch's Service Department, directing staff, ensuring safety, and meeting growth and profitability objectives.

You will plan short- and long-term service goals, coordinate with Parts and Sales, and manage warranty claims with the Warranty Manager while maintaining high customer service standards.

Competenze

• CDL preferred.
• Minimum of four years' experience in related field.
• Excellent leadership and communication skills.
• Requires previous supervisory experience.
• Positive can-do attitude.
• Strong work ethics and commitment to extra hours when needed.

Mansioni

• Plans, directs and controls the activities of the Service Department to ensure growth and profit objectives are met.
• Establishes short and long-term operating and financial objectives for the Service Department.
• Ensures policies and objectives are understood and applied within the department.
• Develops annual and monthly sales/profit objectives and expense budgets.
• Reviews results and takes actions to improve department performance.
• Travels with outside sales to customer locations to promote the Service Department.
• Coordinates with Parts Manager and outside sales to improve labor sales.
• Maintains communication within and between all branches and departments.
• Promotes safe work habits and compliance with safety rules.
• Coordinates warranty claims with Warranty Manager and handles adjustments fairly.
