Murphy-Hoffman Company, LLC is North America's largest Kenworth truck dealership group. A Service Manager is needed to oversee the branch's Service Department, ensuring alignment with policies and procedures while driving growth and profitability.

The role demands leadership, strong communication, and supervisory experience, with focus on safety, quality service, and customer relations at the MHC Kenworth-East Atlanta location in Conyers, GA.

Qualifications

• CDL preferred.
• Minimum of four years' experience in related field.
• Must display excellent leadership and communication skills.
• Requires previous supervisory experience.
• Must have positive can-do attitude.
• Must have strong work ethics and commitment to extra hours when needed.

Responsibilities

• Manage the day-to-day operation of the branch's Service Department.
• Plan, direct and control the Service Department activities to meet growth and profit objectives.
• Establish short- and long-term objectives and budgets for the Service Department.
• Ensure policies and objectives are understood and applied within the department.
• Coordinate warranty claims with Warranty Manager and handle warranty/policy adjustments.
• Travel with outside sales and visit customer locations to promote Service Department and dealerships.
• Collaborate with Parts Manager to improve labor sales with the outside sales force.
• Maintain communication within and between all branch departments.
• Promote safe work habits and ensure safety rules are followed.
• Develop and maintain policies for positive employee and customer relations.
• Perform other duties as assigned by a supervisor.
