Job summary

Murphy-Hoffman Company, LLC is North America’s largest Kenworth truck dealership group. An opening for a Service Manager has been posted to direct the branch Service Department’s daily operations and drive growth and profitability.

You will formulate objectives, monitor results, and promote safety and customer service excellence. Key responsibilities include setting annual sales/profit targets, budgeting, and coordinating with warranty and parts teams.

Qualifications

• Requires minimum four years’ experience in a related field.
• Strong leadership and communication skills required.
• Previous supervisory experience is a must.
• Positive can-do attitude and willingness to work extra hours when needed.

Responsibilities

• Oversee day-to-day operation of the Service Department.
• Set short- and long-term objectives and budgets for the department.
• Coordinate warranty claims with Warranty Manager and manage policy adjustments.
• Collaborate with Parts and Sales teams to optimize service opportunities.
• Promote safety and maintain high professional standards.
• Communicate across all branch departments and report to the Branch Manager.
• May travel to customer locations to promote service offerings.
