Murphy-Hoffman Company (MHC Kenworth) in Murfreesboro, TN, is seeking a Service Manager to lead the branch Service Department. You will guide day-to-day operations, drive growth, manage budgets, and ensure customer satisfaction while coordinating with warranty, parts, and sales teams.

The role requires strong leadership, supervisory experience, and a proven track record of reliability, with a commitment to safety and high service standards.

Qualifications

• CDL preferred.
• Minimum of four years’ experience in related field.
• Must display excellent leadership and communication skills.
• Requires previous supervisory experience.
• Must have positive can-do attitude.
• Must have strong work ethics and commitment to extra hours when needed.

Responsibilities

• Oversee day-to-day operation of the branch's Service Department.
• Plan, direct and control activities to meet growth and profit objectives.
• Develop annual/monthly sales/profit objectives and budgets.
• Coordinate warranty claims with the Warranty Manager and ensure fair adjustments.
• Promote safe work habits and ensure compliance with safety rules.
• Communicate across departments and with customers to maintain relationships.
• Travel with outside sales to customer locations to promote service.
• Support parts and labor sales efforts and improve labor sales.
