Job summary

Chipotle Mexican Grill, Inc. in Ann Arbor, MI, seeks a Service Leader to maintain a positive customer experience by ensuring safe, high-quality food and a well-trained crew on the floor.

You will manage the line, shifts, and training, support food safety and customer service, and assist with office duties while helping develop future leaders in a fast-paced, values-driven environment.

Qualifications

• Understand Chipotle’s Food With Integrity philosophy.
• Knowledge of cash handling policies and procedures.
• Knowledge of Food Safety and health department matters.
• Familiarity with office paperwork.
• Ability to speak, read, write in the primary language of the work location.
• High school diploma.
• Restaurant experience.

Responsibilities

• Ensure great tasting, high quality food is served.
• Resolve food quality issues.
• Support food safety including hand washing, glove changes, time and temperature on the line, shelf life monitoring, and Daily Food Safety Checklist compliance.
• Resolve customer incidents and ensure positive customer experiences.
• Monitor crew breaks, shift changes, and line schedules.
• Develop and cross-train all front-of-house crew.
• Assist with crew performance reviews and with developing future Service Leaders.
• Assist with miscellaneous office administration duties and cash handling policies.
• Ensure office equipment remains in working order and supplies are stocked.
