Job summary

Chipotle Mexican Grill in Warren, MI is seeking a Service Leader to maintain a positive customer experience by ensuring safe, quality food and by training a trained restaurant crew. The role requires being on their feet, keeping the line clean, and stepping in to help with other tasks when not busy.

The Service Leader will monitor breaks and shifts, support food safety, and help develop the next generation of Service Leaders while assisting with office duties as needed.

Qualifications

• High school diploma required.
• Restaurant experience preferred.
• Knowledge of cash handling policies and procedures.
• Knowledge of Food Safety and health department matters.
• Ability to speak, read, write the primary language of the work location.
• Familiarity with office paperwork.

Responsibilities

• Ensure great tasting, high quality food is served.
• Resolve food quality issues.
• Support food safety practices including hand washing, glove changes, time/temperature checks.
• Resolve customer incidents and ensure positive experiences.
• Monitor crew breaks, shift changes, and line schedules.
• Develop and cross train front of house crew.
• Assist with crew performance reviews.
• Develop future Service Leaders.
• Assist with office administration duties such as banking, cash handling, and paperwork.
• Ensure office equipment and supplies are maintained.
• Ensure adequate quantity of supplies is available.
