Job summary

Chipotle Mexican Grill in the United States is seeking a Service Leader to uphold a positive customer experience by ensuring safe, quality food and that the restaurant crew is well trained and provides great service. You will keep a clean, organized line with properly functioning equipment and assist others when not busy.

The role requires understanding Chipotle's Food With Integrity philosophy, knowledge of cash handling, food safety, and office paperwork.

Qualifications

• High school diploma required.
• Restaurant experience preferred.
• Knowledge of cash handling policies and procedures.
• Knowledge of food safety and health department matters.
• Ability to speak, write, read, and understand the primary language of the work location.
• Familiarity with office paperwork.

Responsibilities

• Make sure great tasting, high quality food is served.
• Help resolve food quality issues.
• Support food safety which includes the following: ensuring hand washing and glove changes, monitoring time and temperature on the line, monitoring secondary shelf lives, and ensuring the Daily Food Safety Checklist and food safety policies and procedures are followed.
• Help to resolve customer incidents and work to ensure positive customer experiences.
• Help to monitor crew breaks, shift changes, shift meetings, and line schedules.
• Developing and cross training all front of house Crew.
