Job summary

Chipotle Mexican Grill in Charlottesville is seeking a Service Leader to maintain a positive customer experience by ensuring safe, high-quality food and a well-trained crew. This role keeps the line clean, organized, and compliant with food safety standards while guiding staff on shift.

You will supervise breaks, shifts, and line schedules; assist with crew development and performance reviews; and handle basic office tasks.

Qualifications

• Be able to understand and articulate Chipotle’s philosophy.
• Knowledge of cash handling policies and procedures.
• Knowledge of Food Safety and health department matters.
• Familiarity with office paperwork.
• Ability to speak, write, read, and understand the primary language of the work location.

Responsibilities

• Making sure great tasting, high quality food is served.
• Helping to resolve food quality issues and customer incidents.
• Supporting food safety including hand washing, gloves, time/temperature checks.
• Monitoring line shifts, breaks, and schedules.
• Developing and cross training front of house crew.
• Assisting with crew performance reviews.
• Developing future Service Leaders.
• Assisting with office administration duties and supplies.
• Ensuring office equipment works and supplies are ordered.
