Job summary

Socket.dev is seeking a Service Coordinator to support day-to-day service operations by scheduling technicians, handling service requests, and ensuring timely service delivery. You will act as the main liaison between customers, field staff, and internal teams to keep work orderly and well-documented.

In a fast-paced field environment, you will monitor dispatch accuracy, job progress, and customer satisfaction, contributing to continuous process improvements and reliable service execution.

Qualifications

• Proven ability to coordinate schedules in a field ops environment.
• Experience with high-volume service operations and multiple technicians.
• Familiarity with service management/dispatch software and process workflows.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate and schedule service calls, work orders, maintenance, and urgent requests.
• Dispatch technicians based on skillset, availability, location, and priority.
• Serve as primary contact for customers on service requests, scheduling, and status updates.
• Maintain real-time scheduling tools, logs, and calendars.
• Track work orders from dispatch through completion and billing readiness.
• Communicate ETAs and status updates to customers and teams.
• Coordinate parts and equipment needs with warehouse/purchasing.
• Monitor progress and escalate scheduling conflicts as needed.
• Document work orders, labor, and job details for billing.
