Job summary

Socket.dev is seeking a Service Coordinator to support daily service operations by coordinating technician schedules, managing service requests, and ensuring timely execution of work orders.

In a fast-paced field environment, you will dispatch technicians, monitor progress, and maintain documentation for billing and service levels. You will be the primary contact for customers and internal teams, ensuring clear communication and efficient scheduling.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Associate’s degree in Business Administration, Construction Management, or related field preferred.
• Equivalent combination of education and relevant work experience will be considered.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate and schedule service calls, work orders, preventive maintenance, and emergency service requests.
• Dispatch technicians based on skillset, availability, location, and job priority.
• Serve as the primary point of contact for customers regarding service requests, scheduling, and status updates.
• Maintain and update real-time scheduling tools, dispatch logs, and technician calendars.
• Track service work orders from dispatch through completion, ensuring timely execution and closure.
• Communicate technician ETAs, delays, and job status updates to customers and internal teams.
