Job summary

Socket.dev in Austin, TX is seeking a Service Coordinator to support daily service operations by coordinating technician schedules, handling service requests, and ensuring timely delivery of work. You will be the central hub between customers, field technicians, and internal teams to keep work scheduled, documented, and completed efficiently.

In this role you will dispatch based on skill and availability, maintain real-time scheduling tools, track work orders through completion, and communicate

Qualifications

• Minimum 2–4 years in service coordination or dispatching.
• Experience with high-volume field operations.
• Proficient in ServiceTrade, FieldEdge, or similar systems.
• Strong documentation and billing readiness understanding.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate and schedule service calls, work orders, and PMs.
• Dispatch technicians based on skills, availability, and priority.
• Serve as primary contact for customers on requests and status.
• Maintain real-time scheduling tools and technician calendars.
• Track work orders from dispatch to completion.
• Communicate ETAs and status updates to customers and teams.
• Coordinate parts and equipment with warehouse and purchasing.
• Monitor progress and escalate conflicts or delays.
• Document work orders for billing and job costing.
• Support service agreement scheduling and renewals.
• Monitor service performance metrics and support improvements.
