Job summary

Socket.dev seeks a Service Coordinator to support daily service operations, coordinating technician schedules, managing requests, and ensuring timely service delivery. You will act as the main contact for customers and internal teams, maintaining schedules and documenting work orders to enable accurate billing and reporting.

The role requires strong dispatching skills, excellent communication, and proficiency with ServiceTrade/FieldEdge and MS Office.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2–4 years of experience in service coordination, dispatching, scheduling, or admin support in a field operations environment.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate and schedule service calls and work orders, preventive maintenance, and emergency service requests.
• Dispatch technicians based on skillset, availability, location, and priority.
• Serve as primary contact for customers regarding service requests, scheduling, and status updates.
• Maintain real-time scheduling tools, dispatch logs, and technician calendars.
• Track service work orders from dispatch to completion, ensuring timely execution and closure.
• Communicate ETAs, delays, and status updates to customers and teams.
• Coordinate parts, materials, and equipment with warehouse and purchasing.
• Monitor progress and elevate scheduling conflicts or issues as needed.
• Ensure documentation of work orders, labor, and job details for billing and costing.
• Assist in processing completed work orders and billing documentation.
• Support service agreement scheduling, renewals, and recurring maintenance coordination.
• Monitor service performance metrics and support process improvements.
