Job summary

Murphy-Hoffman Company, LLC is North America’s largest Kenworth truck dealership group. We have an opening for an Assistant Service Manager to assist the Service Manager in the day-to-day operations of the Branch’s Service Department in compliance with established policies and procedures.

Plans, organizes, leads, and controls the activities of the Service Department to ensure growth and profit objectives are met.

Qualifications

• Two years’ experience in service department management.
• Positive can-do attitude.
• Strong leadership and communication skills.
• Commitment and work ethic.
• Willing to relocate.

Responsibilities

• Assist the Service Manager in day-to-day operations of the Branch’s Service Department.
• Ensure policies and objectives are communicated within the department.
• Review department results and take action as necessary.
• Coordinate warranty claims with the Warranty Manager and administer warranty adjustments for customers, dealership, and vendor.
• Provide daily supervision of Foremen.
• Address customer complaints so they are handled before the vehicle leaves the shop.
• Monitor repair orders daily and guide the closing of RO’s.
• Maintain cross-department communication within the branch.
