Job summary

National Church Residences seeks a Service Coordinator to advocate for residents, organize programs, and coordinate community services for seniors. You will work as a liaison to agencies, develop resource directories, and sponsor educational events addressing health care and life skills.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in social work or related field preferred.
• Two or more years of experience delivering social services to elderly and/or family populations preferred.
• Working knowledge of supportive services and local community resources.

Responsibilities

• Advocate for residents and coordinate programs and activities.
• Serve as a liaison to community agencies and service providers; identify low-cost services and negotiate discounts.
• Develop a resident Resource Directory and sponsor educational events related to health care and life skills.
• Provide quality customer service, address concerns, and assist with basic needs.
• Monitor feedback from residents and families and relay it to appropriate teams.
