Job summary

National Church Residences in Atlanta, GA is seeking Service Coordinators to advance better living and care for seniors. You will advocate, organize, problem-solve, and deliver results for residents while coordinating programs and activities.

As a liaison to community agencies, you will identify low-cost services, develop a Resource Directory, and sponsor health and life-skills events. Excellent customer service and stakeholder management are essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in social work or a related field preferred.
• Two or more years delivering social services to elderly and/or family populations preferred.
• Demonstrated ability to advocate, organize, problem-solve, and deliver measurable results for residents.

Responsibilities

• Advocate, organize, problem-solve and deliver results for residents.
• Coordinate programs and activities for residents.
• Serve as a liaison to community agencies and network with service providers.
• Identify low-cost service providers and negotiate discounts.
• Engage residents to identify needs and make referrals to services.
• Develop a Resource Directory of state/local service providers.
• Sponsor educational events on health care, agency support, life skills and referrals.
• Provide quality customer service and assist residents with basic needs.
• Assist residents in obtaining community services such as housing, meals, transportation and day-to-day support.
• Monitor and relay feedback from residents and families.
• Manage internal and external relationships with professional communication.
