Job summary

Vertiv Corporation seeks a Service Center leader to provide business, managerial, and technical direction for Field Engineers, Technicians, and Administrators in the Ohio region. The role oversees scheduling, invoicing, and progress reporting, while coordinating with sales and management to grow the business.

Responsibilities include supervising staff, reviewing contracts, delivering technical support, and ensuring safety and equipment calibration.

Qualifications

• Engineering degree or military/equivalent with substantial management experience.
• Strong communication and supervision skills.
• Proficiency in MS Word and technical report writing.
• Willingness to travel and work flexible hours.

Responsibilities

• Develop daily schedule for Field Engineers and Technicians; ensure availability.
• Develop and review proposals; review field reports and contracts.
• Possibly perform sales calls to territory accounts to generate orders.
• Provide technical support for field personnel and sales engineers.
• Coordinate weekly invoicing and monthly status reports with the Business Administrator.
• Interview job applicants and coordinate field training programs.
• Ensure safety policy compliance and conduct regular safety meetings.
• Review progress with Sales Team and General Manager to grow business.
• Maintain calibration of test equipment traceable to NIST.
