Job summary

Vertiv is seeking a Service Center Supervisor to oversee a team of field service engineers and technicians within a defined territory. The role combines supervisory, sales and admin duties with regular fieldwork and complex electrical troubleshooting.

You will lead project work such as generator testing, substation commissioning, and power surveys while ensuring safety and quality. Travel and a strong customer focus are essential.

Qualifications

• Graduate of applicable Electrical Technical School or Military equivalent; nine years minimum related experience.
• High school education or equivalent with ten years minimum related experience.
• Factory certified on Core Vertiv (Liebert) UPS and related critical infrastructure products.
• Knowledge of Electrical Power Distribution, Generators, Switchgear and Automatic Transfer Switches.

Responsibilities

• Supervise field service engineers and technicians within a defined territory.
• Perform complex troubleshooting, tests, inspections and appraisals on electrical systems.
• Lead large projects including generator tests, substation commissioning and turnkey projects.
• Prepare estimates, proposals, schedules and field reports; ensure accurate billing.
• Interface with clients and contribute to business development activities.
