Job summary

Tupelo Honey - Downtown Asheville is seeking motivated team members for Front of House roles to lead shifts, enhance guest experiences, and ensure smooth POS transactions. This position offers growth opportunities within a fast-paced hospitality environment.

We value teamwork, strong communication, and reliable attendance. Candidates should be able to stand for long periods, lift up to 50 pounds, and be available on Monday evenings.

Qualifications

• 1+ year(s) of experience in FOH service or management roles.
• Positive, proactive teamwork attitude.
• Excellent math skills and ability to operate a POS system.
• Clear and effective communication with managers, staff, guests and vendors.
• Ability to move information quickly in a fast-paced setting.
• Working knowledge of English.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES

• Floor leadership during shift.
• Oversight of guest experience.
• Menu and recipe expertise.
• Oversight of shift transactions and POS.

QUALIFICATIONS

• At least 1 years experience in FOH service environment as service or management personnel.
• Must possess a positive, proactive, constructive teamwork attitude.
• Possess good math skills and have the ability to operate a POS system.
• Must be able to communicate clearly and effectively with all managers, employees, guests and purveyors at all business volume levels.
• Must be able to move and process information quickly.
• Must have a working knowledge of the English language.

REQUIREMENTS

• Be able to work in a standing position for long periods of time (up to 10 hours).
• Be able to reach, bend, stoop and frequently lift up to 50 pounds.
• Must be able to move and process information quickly.
• Must be available on Monday evenings.
