Job summary

AutoNation in the United States seeks a Service Advisor to bridge service Technicians and customers, explaining technician recommendations in clear terms and identifying upsell opportunities to keep vehicles safe. You’ll engage customers, schedule appointments, and guide them through the service journey.

You will greet customers, assess needs, prepare estimates, and maintain transparency with repair timelines. A strong emphasis on service quality, loyalty, and teamwork is required.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Exceptional customer experience track record preferred.
• Ability to set and achieve goals.
• Good communication and organizational skills.
• Willingness to follow up with customers.
• Experience with technology is a plus.
• Valid in-state driver’s license and clean driving record.

Responsibilities

• Set, confirm and prepare for appointments for a great service experience.
• Meet or exceed sales goals and customer satisfaction targets.
• Greet customers in a friendly manner on arrival.
• Determine vehicle needs via walk-around, inspections and test drives.
• Use consultative selling to plan ongoing maintenance.
• Produce repair orders with cost and time estimates.
• Communicate with technicians and parts staff for timely work.
• Follow up with customers on status as they prefer.
• Follow up to ensure customer satisfaction.
• Gain product knowledge to help customers and drive loyalty.
