Job summary

AutoNation, a nationwide automotive retailer, is looking for a Service Advisor to bridge customers and technicians. You will explain recommendations, set appointments, and pursue upsell opportunities to keep vehicles safe and customers satisfied.

You’ll use technology to access vehicle data, prepare clear cost estimates, and communicate transparently with customers and teammates to drive loyalty and repeat business.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Excellent customer service and communication skills.
• Ability to meet sales goals and work with technology.

Responsibilities

• Schedule and prepare for appointments for customers.
• Meet or exceed sales goals and CSI targets.
• Greet customers on arrival in a friendly manner.
• Determine vehicle needs based on information and walk-around.
• Use consultative selling to plan for ongoing maintenance.
• Prepare repair orders with cost and time estimates.
• Communicate with technicians and parts staff to ensure timely completion.
• Follow up with customers on vehicle status as requested.
• Gain product knowledge to assist customers effectively.
• Provide an exceptional customer experience to drive loyalty.
