Job summary

AutoNation is seeking a Service Advisor to bridge customers and service technicians in our state-of-the-art service departments. You’ll explain recommendations in plain language and identify up-sell opportunities to keep drivers safe.

You will set and confirm appointments, greet customers, assess needs, prepare repair orders with estimates, and communicate with technicians to ensure timely work. Ohio-based role with strong customer focus.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Exceptional customer experience ability.
• Ability to set and hit targeted goals.
• Prior sales experience preferred.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Willingness to follow up with customers.
• Valid in-state driver’s license and clean record.

Responsibilities

• Set, confirm and prepare for appointments with customers.
• Meet or exceed sales goals and CSI targets.
• Greet customers and determine vehicle needs after walk-arounds and test drives.
• Use consultative selling to plan for maintenance.
• Produce repair orders with cost and time estimates.
• Communicate with technicians and parts staff for timely work.
• Follow up with customers on status and satisfaction.
