Job summary

AutoNation is seeking a Service Advisor to bridge service technicians and customers in our state-of-the-art service departments. You’ll explain technician recommendations in clear terms and suggest upsell opportunities to keep vehicles safe.

You will set appointments, greet customers, and determine needs through walk-arounds and test drives. This role emphasizes a consultative approach to maintenance planning and timely communication with the shop.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Must provide an exceptional customer experience.
• Ability to set and achieve targeted goals.
• Proven communication, consultative, interpersonal and organizational skills.

Responsibilities

• Set, confirm and prepare for appointments with customers.
• Meet or exceed sales goals and CSAT targets.
• Greet customers and determine vehicle needs via walk-around/inspections.
• Use consultative selling for ongoing maintenance planning.
• Produce repair orders with cost and time estimates.
• Communicate with technicians to ensure timely completion of work.
• Follow up with customers regarding status and satisfaction.
