Job summary

AutoNation is seeking a Service Advisor to join our nationwide team. You’ll bridge Service Technicians and customers, explaining repairs in plain language and identifying upsell opportunities to keep drivers safe.

In the service lane, you’ll schedule appointments, greet customers, assess vehicle needs, prepare repair orders with estimates, and communicate with techs to ensure timely completion while delivering an exceptional customer experience.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent is required.
• Proven ability to provide an exceptional customer experience.
• Ability to set and achieve targeted goals.

Responsibilities

• Set, confirm and prepare for appointments with customers for a great service experience.
• Meet or exceed targeted sales goals & customer satisfaction index.
• Greet customers and determine vehicle needs via walk-arounds and test drives.
• Use consultative selling to plan ongoing maintenance with customers.
• Produce repair orders with cost/time estimates and transparency.
• Coordinate with technicians and parts staff to ensure timely completion of work.
• Follow up with customers to update on status and satisfaction.
