Job summary

AutoNation is seeking a Service Advisor to bridge customers and our service technicians in a fast-paced, nationwide network. You will explain technician recommendations in plain language and identify up-sell opportunities to keep vehicles safe.

In this role you will greet customers, schedule and confirm appointments, and determine vehicle needs through walk-arounds, inspections, and test drives. A high school diploma and strong communication are required.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Excellent customer service experience.
• Ability to meet sales goals.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Comfort with technology and software.

Responsibilities

• Set, confirm and prepare for appointments with customers for a great service experience.
• Meet or exceed targeted sales goals and customer satisfaction index.
• Greet customers in a friendly manner when they arrive.
• Determine vehicle needs based on customer information and walk-around.
• Use consultative selling to plan for ongoing maintenance.
• Produce repair orders with cost and time estimates for customers.
• Communicate with technicians and parts staff to ensure timely work.
• Follow up with customers on status and satisfaction.
• Gain product knowledge to better assist customers.
• Provide an exceptional customer experience to drive loyalty.
