Job summary

AutoNation is seeking a Service Advisor to bridge service technicians and customers in our nationwide network. You will explain technician recommendations in clear terms and identify up-sell opportunities to keep vehicles safe.

You will meet appointment targets, drive customer satisfaction, and guide customers through maintenance planning while delivering accurate repair estimates and timely updates.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Proven ability to provide an exceptional customer experience.
• Ability to set and achieve targeted goals.
• Demonstrated communication, consultative, interpersonal and organizational skills.
• Willingness to follow up with customers.

Responsibilities

• Greet customers in a friendly manner when they arrive.
• Set, confirm and prepare for appointments for a great service experience.
• Determine vehicle needs based on customer information and vehicle walk-around.
• Use a consultative selling process to plan ongoing maintenance.
• Produce repair orders with cost and time estimates, with transparency.
• Communicate with technicians and parts staff to ensure timely work completion.
• Follow up with customers on status and satisfaction.
